Clery Reportable Crimes

The Clery Act requires that the University of Central Florida to include four general categories of crime statistics. Click here for a complete list of Clery Act crime definitions.

Criminal Offenses

  • Murder/non-negligent manslaughter
  • Manslaughter by negligence
  • Sex Offense (rape, fondling, incest, statutory rape)
  • Robbery
  • Aggravated Assault
  • Burglary
  • Motor Vehicle Theft
  • Arson

Hate Crimes

Hate crime involving any of the previously listed criminal offenses, as well as larceny/theft, simple assault intimidation, and vandalism when the crime manifests evidence that the victim was intentionally selected because of the perpetrator’s bias against the victim.
