Communication Center
Emergency Response
In the event of an immediate threat, danger, injury, fire, or criminal occurrence, call 9-1-1. University Police are part of the county-wide “Enhanced 9-1-1” system and automatically receive calls related to campus. The system ensures that the correct emergency responder – police, medical or fire – is directed to the right place in the shortest amount of time. Since telephone numbers appear on the police computer screen, callers who are either too young or too incapacitated to give their number or location can still receive emergency assistance. Certified 9-1-1 operators are on line 24 hours a day.
