Below are Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) emergency management training courses from the Emergency Management Institute (EMI). These courses focus on a national standard for preparedness, prevention, protection, response, and recovery to and from any emergency.

Active Assailant Preparedness Guidance:

• You Are the Help Until Help Arrives
• Stop the Bleed

Emergency Management highly recommends anyone to take the following 4 courses:

• IS-100.c Introduction to the Incident Command System
• IS-200.b ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents
• IS-700.b An Introduction to the National Incident Management System
• IS-800.c National Response Framework, An Introduction

Critical/Essential Personnel Requirements

Safety

• IS-906 Workplace Security Awareness
• IS-907 Active Shooter: What You Can Do

Continuity of Operations (COOP)

This class should be taken by those that have COOP responsibilities.
