The speed limit along Libra Drive has dropped to 20mph as construction crews work to widen the road.

The UCF Police Department is asking you to slow down and be mindful of the change. We will be enforcing the speed limit, and speeding fines will be doubled when workers are present.

The construction will expand Libra Drive from two lanes to four from Gemini Boulevard South to the entrance of Central Florida Research Park.  An eastbound right turn lane also will be added at Gemini Boulevard and Libra Drive.

Construction will lead to traffic delays, so it is best to use an alternate route when possible. Completion is expected by March 2016.
