K9 Demostrations
The University of Central Florida Police employees both Narcotics Detection K-9 and Explosive Detection K-9 Teams to ensure the safety of the University Community. These dogs are also fully trained to apprehend fleeing felony suspects.
 
Emergency Response Team (ERT)
The University of Central Florida Police employees an Emergency Response Team to deal with crisis situations on campus. These officers are specially trained similar to a SWAT team.
 
Technology-Based Crime Units
The University of Central Florida serves its community by protecting its digital infrastructure, in partnership with other law enforcement agencies. We provide outreach education in the areas of computer safety, ID theft and electric crime.
 
Law Enforcement Analyst/Crime Mapping
Performing detailed research and analysis on confidential criminal intelligence information, our analyst will develop tactical and strategic plans for addressing crime, developing and disseminating criminal intelligence bulletins (internally and externally) and supporting law enforcement investigative personnel with tasks associated with criminal background information.
 
Forensic Technician
Our crime scene technician handles the documentation, photography and collection of evidence at crime scenes. Our forensic technician is also responsible for the proper management, maintenance and dissemination of all evidence, safe keeping of property, and lost-and-found property collected by the UCF Police Department.
 
Motorcycle Unit
Officers patrol the campus on 2010 Harley-Davidson ElectraGlide motorcycles.
 
Bicycle Unit
Officers patrol the inner core of campus on police mountain bikes.
 
Allied Barton
The UCF Police Department is complemented by security officers at the Rosen College and at on-campus and affiliated residential housing.
