Special Event Security

The University of Central Florida Police Department Special Operations Unit is charged with planning and operational management of many special events on campus. UCFPD works with the UCF Athletic Association, UCF Arena, the Office of Student Involvement and many other entities both outside and within the university.

University of Central Florida Police Department oversees the multi-agency operation at all home UCF Football Games at the Brighthouse Stadium.

The Unit also coordinates law enforcement coverage at concerts and other special events at the UCF Arena http://www.ucfarena.com/index.php . Officers provide traffic control and law enforcement needs.

Any group that uses grounds and facilities of the University must abide by UCF Rule 6C7-4.0292 (Potentially Hazardous Events). The form to request the use of the facilities can be found at http://www.getinvolveducf.com/safeform.php . The Office of Student Involvement is responsible for overseeing this process ensuring several department including the UCF Police Department to sign off on the special event request form.
